Training

The Omega Group offers a wide variety of training options. Remote follow up training modules are available to all our existing clients through GoToMyPC or GoToMeeting. This remote access software will allow users to dial directly into their project manager’s computer and work with their own application data. The training will be based on each user’s specific needs and is currently being offered in 2 hour modules. Below are some examples of the types of training we can offer:

2 Hour Training Modules

Project Administration:
This module will give the user an opportunity to learn how to maintain their import process and output file locations. Users will also get a chance to learn about our standard software settings and proper Omega application structure.

Geocoding:
This session will cover working with interactive address matching, creating indexes/services, summarizing unmatched records, and Heads up Digitizing as well as any geocoding specifics the user would like to explore.

Creating and Editing Features:
The user will learn how to edit existing boundaries, points, or line features as well as work with the attribute tables of each. Creating symbol legends will also be covered.

The two hour modules described above are intended to help strengthen the existing knowledge base.
