CrimeView and Homeland Security





CrimeView

Threshold Alert - this routines spots new crime trends or patterns and automatically sends out an e-mail alert to any parties specified. The e-mail alert can include a map and report if requested and can be set to track by any specific crime activity that exceeds a user defined threshold. By tracking existing activity, spotting new trends, and alerting staff the Threshold Alert routine greatly improves security within the community that it serves.

Cyclical Reporting - this function allows specific reporting and crime analysis routines to be automated. By saving time and producing easily interpreted reports and maps Cyclical Reporting allows the crime analyst to focus on the highest priority tasks and thereby devote more time to Homeland Security.

Density Mapping - with Hot Spot, Repeat Call, and standard Density mapping, problem areas can be identified. This allows for a more efficient allocation of resources and officers. By putting officers where they are most needed time is saved and staff are educated as to which parts of the community require special attention.

CrimeView Web

CrimeView Web - this Web based product allows all the members of any police department to access their crime data easily through a Web browser. CrimeView Web greatly increases the transfer of crime related information throughout public safety agencies and thereby improves overall security. Staff are also educated regarding the most recent criminal activities and where they occurred.

CrimeView Community

CrimeView Community (Incident Map) - this Web based application allows the general public to monitor crime activity in their neighborhood. All the citizens within a community are made aware of current crime events occurring in their area. This allows for a more comprehensive approach to security by allow the public and the police to utilize the same information.

CrimeView Community (Sex Offender) - while this Web based application is referenced as sex offender, any set of offenders or suspects can be tracked. Anyone with a Web browser can map out the location of offenders or suspects in their area. This product educates the community as well as police officers as to which individuals are more likely to commit crime in their area. Homeland Security is addressed as it relates to tracking possible terrorist suspects or known offenders.
