Wilson Fire Launches Omega Dashboard™

In an effort to allocate resources as effectively and efficiently as possible Wilson Fire & Rescue in North Carolina recently launched Omega Dashboard. The solution, which resides on an ESRI mapping platform, allows anyone to access end resultant maps and reports through a Web browser. No knowledge of GIS is required in order to decipher current information about calls-for-service in the Wilson area through the use of Omega Dashboard.

Omega Dashboard allows the end user to display data from multiple “Content Libraries” which contain maps, reports and charts. This way each user can customize their own interface and view only information that pertains to their area of interest. A common operating picture is established through an automated data import process as well as consistent content made available to anyone with login permissions.
