FireView™ to Aid New Orleans Fire Department
Recovery efforts continue for New Orleans in the wake of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In order to better serve the public, New Orleans Fire Department is implementing FireView. The analysis tools within FireView will be used to assess response times as well as help allocate limited resources as efficiently as possible.

As the city works to rebuild, numerous structures are being repaired or coming back online. The Fire Department is using building permit data to assist in tracking these structures geographically as construction progress is made.

Beaumont School Utilize School Planer™
Beaumont Independent School District in Texas recently experienced some major demographic changes. After Hurricane Katrina there was an influx of students from the New Orleans area that put a strain on District facilities. A few months later Hurricane Rita ravaged the area and there were mass evacuations. Managing pupil placement and bringing schools back online have been significant issues for the District in the wake of two hurricanes. School Planner™ has provided the analytical and planning tools that help District staff make the most of their limited resources

Honolulu Police Get CrimeView
The Omega Group recently implemented CrimeView at the Honolulu Police Department. CrimeView will enable Honolulu Police to map out and analyze crimes as they occur. The hot-spot and density mapping functions will aid with officer allocation and the general querying functions will enhance community oriented policing efforts in the city.

Puerto Rico Police Use CrimeView®
The Omega Group and Geographic Mapping Technologies have built a CrimeView application for the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The system is being used primarily to track Part 1 Crimes by neighborhood so that officers can be allocated where they are most needed. San Juan has eleven police precincts which serve a population of over half a million residents.
